Olivedale Swellendam Rose 2025

With the absence of harshness or hurry this Rose was born with its lovely light pink colour combined with the bursting aromas of ripe strawberry, mulberry and blackberry is softly rounded on taste with a dry finish.

Heavy clay soils and the dry African summers result in slow growing vines that produce this exceptional rose.

Grapes were harvested from selected blocks. Grapes were destemmed, slightly crushed and left on the skins for a minimum time to achieve the trademark rosé colour. Fermenting as one, this blend was left on the fine lees for ±4 months prior to preparation for bottling.
